Are you your sister’s keeper? Yes you are! You have a responsibility to the women you love to make sure that their financial house is in order! You have a responsibility to your own family to have your financial house in order! Tomorrow is not promised and today is the best day to begin to make better decisions about your income and your assets. This format will help to do that, while helping other sisters in your community to get on the right track. It is suggested that you partner with a like minded community organization with a critical mass of women who need this information. Chapters can determine their own budget, sponsors, venue, etc. but the curriculum should be followed as closely as possible and all future financial literacy workshops should be branded “My Sister’s Keeper”. My Sister’s Keeper is designed for African-American women and incorporates training on topics such as basic financial concepts, investments, and retirement planning through an interactive workshop setting.
